Because we entertain pretty frequently, I wanted to have a really durable (preferable jute or sisal) rug in the living room. I wanted something contemporary and found this one a while ago at West Elm. It has held up wonderfully and looks great in a large area (we got the 9x12). I paired it side by side with this one from Ballard Designs (great home decorating site) and love the way the look together:
